Southport Liveable Neighbourhood – Engagement Events

Businesses and residents invited to help design streets in online events

Businesses and local people around Southport’s Shakespeare Street are invited to online events to say what they would like to change to make streets safer and healthier.

The charity Sustrans is organising two online events to gather feedback from different groups and help to develop designs for the new look street. The project, which is funded by Sefton Council, is part of efforts to make the area safer and healthier for people to walk, cycle or use a wheelchair for local shops and services.

The two online events are:

Business Engagement Event, Workshop 1

Monday 14th Dec 2020 – 6pm to 7.30pm

There will be further events added so as many people as possible have a chance to have their say. Find out more or give your views via the Hub website: http://www.sustrans.org.uk/SouthportLN

Views gathered from workshops and online comments will shape the street designs from the start.
