Cycling in Sefton

More and more people are taking to two wheels (or more) as a way to get from A to B, stay fit, healthy and active, socialise and meet new people or save money on travel.

Cycle Route Improvement Schemes

Cycle Hire for all the family

Don’t have your own bike? Our partners at VISIT Sefton and West Lancs operate a cycle hire scheme which provides bikes for all the family (fee applies).  For details of the hire centre and costs, please see the VISIT website.

Ditch Your Stabilisers

Children learning to cycleOur partners at Active Sports now run Ditch Your Stabilisers sessions during school holidays. These sessions provide the ideal way for families to get their children riding and with a fantastic success rate, these hands-on sessions offer the perfect opportunity to give your children a head start with their cycling.  All children must be accompanied by an adult who must participate in the session.
