It’s here – take a sneak preview of our new Sefton Circular Cycle Route which we launch on Sunday.  The route is 24 miles / 38km long and is mostly off road / traffic free.  To see the route, click here.

The route explores the wonderful Sefton Coast in addition to the Cheshire Lines path which links Maghull to Ainsdale. When following this route, you will cycle through pine woods, alongside Antony Gormley’s statues, pass through Rimrose Valley, cycle alongside the Leeds Liverpool Canal and follow the line of the former Cheshire Lines railway.

This enjoyable half day cycle ride is suitable for all abilities to undertake at your own pace, why not take your time and stop off for refreshments, whilst you take in what the local area has to offer.

The route is described in a clockwise direction starting from Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre however can be picked up at any point and also can be done in an anticlockwise direction.
