This month is National Walking Month, an annual campaign to promote the benefits of walking, no matter what your level of fitness whether walking to school, work, health or fun. It is simple, free and no special equipment is needed, which means it is one the easiest ways to be more active, lose weight and become healthier.

The campaign is organised by Living Streets, and this year they are focusing on 20 fun and easy ways to fit 20 minutes walking into your day with their #Try20 pledge.

This month, Walk to School Week also takes place from 16th-20th May.
