Our ever popular community Dr Bike sessions are about to roll into town again, helping you to get pedal ready for 2017.
So if your bike has been under used or over used and is creaking out for some TLC, then bring it along for a basic service and ride away for many happy miles to come.
There is no need to pre book, just turn up on the day, however the sessions can become quite busy, so arrive early as our qualified mechanic generally operates on a first come first served basis.
Typically the work we can carry out includes:
- Replace inner tubes
- Replace worn tyres
- Replace worn brake pads
- Replace worn cables
- Gear tune up
- Oil chain
- Correctly inflate inner tubes
- M check
If for any reason we can’t repair the bike during the session, our mechanic can advise on the best course of action, whether that be attending a further session or arranging more complex work to be carried out at a later date.
There are five sessions planned at different community locations, on five separate dates throughout south Sefton, kicking off on the 31st January at Waterloo Community Centre, 10:00am – 13:00pm.
For details of the other sessions visit our events calendar.
