Sefton Circular Cycle Route
Our new Sefton Circular cycle route is a 24 mile long predominately off road cycle route which explores the wonderful Sefton Coast in addition to the Cheshire Lines path which links Maghull to Ainsdale.

There are currently 15 themed cycle route maps available to download and enjoy, ranging in distance from 3 miles to 35 miles and cover some of the best traffic free and quiet routes within Sefton and into West Lancashire. Each route has a particular theme associated to it. Although the maps have been produced as cycling maps they can be equally enjoyed as walking routes too. The maps can be ridden singularly or linked together to create longer or different routes. By clicking on the download tab you will be redirected to our partner site Visit Sefton and West Lancashire, where you will be able to download the routes

This handy guide has 16 individual routes some specifically for either walking or cycling and some which are great for both. You can choose whether to do a leisurely, moderate, strenuous or challenging route which vary from 3 miles up to 21 miles in length.
